Scott served for over 10 years as the Episcopal Chaplain at Virginia Tech and as the Associate Rector of Christ Episcopal Church, Blacksburg. He then served as Rector of St. Brendan’s Episcopal Church in Franklin Park, PA. He is currently serving as the Episcopal Chaplain at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. He is the chair of the LGBTQ Commission of the Diocese of New Jersey, serves on the Reparations Commission, and the Committee on the Priesthood. He has been elected to the deputations of the last two General Conventions and will serve again in 2024.
